GravityCerts makes it easy to customize the order of your team members on the team directory. Often times agencies do not want to order the team by name alphabetically, or by data created, or last updated.
Team members use a custom ordering system by numeric order, set manually for each member of your team. This way agencies have full control to order their team in their preferred order.
Order team members by using the Order field in the Post Attributes box while editing the team member details.
Team members are listed in numeric order starting with 0 as the first person.
This numeric list is most easily seen on the main Team Members list in your website admin area. In the left admin bar click Team Members to view your team list.
Hover over a team member then click Quick Edit to change the person’s Order, then click Update to save your change.
Pro Tip:
Leave space when incrementing team members, such as by 10s.
0, 10, 20, 30, 40 and so forth.
This allows you to add new team members in the future in-between other team members without needing to change the order for every other team member.
0, 10, 17, 20, 30, 40. (Entering 17 for a new team member will list this person 3rd)
